I was born in Santa Clara but I grew up in Stockton, California. I moved to McMinville, Oregon around the time I was 7. Then my family moved all the way up to Puyallup, Washington right before I turned 10. Then finally, 2 years later we moved back to Stockton to be closer to my dad’s parents.
I turn 18 on October 25th! I have three siblings, two brothers and a sister who are all younger than I am. I am a Chemistry major, looking to get my PHD. I want to be a synthetic pharmaceutical chemist and focus mainly on creating medication for diseases that aren’t so “popular.” My first job, and one I had to give up to come to UCSB, was being a caretaker for terminally ill foster kids.
I played softball, recreational, high school, and travel for the last 6 years. I also did cheerleading all four years in high school. I was the junior and senior class president, so I was super involved.
I love reading, watching movies, and shopping. My favorite books are teen fiction or teen romance, favorite movies are comedy and romance/dramas, and my favorite places to shop are Victoria Secret and PINK. I listen to a lot of different music, my playlist ranges from very country to rock or alternative to pop songs or rap. I love the beach and everything about it, it’s my favorite place to be. I find some kind of tranquility and peacefulness in the ocean that I can’t seem to find anywhere else.
